Travel RN - Telemetry - Pediatric Stepdown

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric Stepdown position at a large Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center, requiring at least 2 years of experience and trauma center background.

• Active CT or compact RN license (pending license accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior experience in a large Trauma Center setting required
• Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

• Pediatric Stepdown unit within a large, short-term acute care, Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center with 1,500+ beds
• Average patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• Charting in Epic
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Parking available at $125/month
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• RTO requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required; religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
