Travel ER Registered Nurse

Overview

Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in ED
- Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in New Haven, Connecticut.

• Provide emergency department nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Cross-train and flex to other campuses and ED observation as assigned.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adhere to trauma protocols and isolation precautions.
• Maintain patient and family education, document accurately in Epic.
• Respond to ED emergencies including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and respiratory events.

• 2 years of experience preferred in trauma/ED; will consider 1.5 years from a similar hospital
• Certifications:
  
  TNCC, ACLS, BLS (additional certifications such as PALS, ENPC, NIHSS, CPI may be preferred but not required)
• Open to traveling; active CT license or eligibility; proper RTO approval for extended time off
• Level I Trauma experience required

• Travel nurses may rotate to other campuses and ED observation; ED observation unit is staffed by ED RNs and Providers.
• Weekend scheduling and makeup policy described by client; coordinators will assist with scheduling and approval per staffing needs.
• Special Requirements:
  Level 1 Trauma experience; rotation between campuses possible.
