Prime Staffing seeks a travel RN for an Emergency Department (ED) role in New Haven, Connecticut.

• Provide direct patient care in the ED, including trauma, acute medical, and surgical cases
• Cross‑train and float to the ED Observation Unit, York Street Campus ED, and Saint Raphael Campus ED as needed
• Maintain patient‑to‑RN ratios of approximately 1:6 during both day and night shifts
• Perform all required clinical duties in line with Level I Trauma Center protocols
• Adhere to the hospital’s weekend call schedule and “make‑up” policy for missed shifts

• Registered Nurse with a valid RN license
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience (1.5 years accepted with Level I trauma exposure from a similar facility)
• Certification: ACLS, BLS, TNCC (trauma nursing certification); additional credentials such as PALS, ENPC, CPI acceptable
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Experience in Level I trauma, Level II trauma, and stroke‑certified environments
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• On‑call requirement: currently not required
• License pending accepted; RTO > 7 days requires approval

• 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Day 4×12 (11:00‑23:00) and Mid 4×12 (15:00‑03:00)
• Every other weekend required; “make‑up” weekends per policy
