• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Respect patients’ values, preferences, and expressed needs.
• Collect pertinent data and information for health assessments.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Develop and modify individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care delivery and transitions in care.
• Promote health and a safe environment through health teaching.

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Experience: Registered Nurse is the foundational job description for all RNs.

  Certifications:
  
  Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut. Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire. Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.
