Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position as a Post-doctoral Fellow in Computational Biology at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Responsibilities include conducting research in computational neuroscience, bioinformatics, statistical data analysis, and methods development in computer science, computational biology, and biomedical informatics. Data sets include large-scale multi-omics multi-modal Parkinson's datasets, the Harvard Biomarkers Study, BRAINcode, among others.
Qualifications- Experience with DNA LLM and CNN is advantageous
- Experience with GRN is advantageous
- Strong R and coding skills
- Research background in computational biology
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- PhD in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
- First-author publications in relevant scientific journals
