Overview

Verizon Wireless Small Business Account Manager – Your Wireless, a Verizon Authorized Retailer, is expanding in 2025. The role manages sales, prospecting, and engagement with VZ campaigns daily, driving new business through the retail channel and outbound prospecting.

Compensation

Base pay $+ plus sales bonuses and incentives. The commission program allows unlimited opportunity, exceeding compensation plans for top earners. The bonus program is based on performance of key metrics and sales volume of your locations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Salesforce, prospect, and engage with VZ campaigns daily.
  • Lead weekly call blitzes, review performance with leadership, and track sales progress.
  • Meet monthly sales targets, lead 1:1 meetings with District Managers, and provide region-wide updates.
  • Introduce end-to-end technology solutions to energize small and medium business customers.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and working leads and referrals.
  • Partner with and mentor Consumer Retail Sales Representatives.
  • Acquire and retain accounts in the small business segment.
  • Utilize solutions-based selling techniques to solve business problems for customers.
  • Serve the needs of the existing customer base.
  • Use sales enablement systems and tools to track, forecast, manage pipeline and book of business.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless business.
  • 1 year or more of outside sales experience.
  • High school Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire employees and people around you.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • High proficiency with technology including cellular devices, computers, point of sale systems, Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel to various locations in your assigned district as business needs dictate.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide proof of work eligibility in the US.
  • Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
