As an Aerospace & Defense Sales Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Meeting or exceeding designated sales quota in your assigned sales territory
- Partnering with local distribution to execute growth initiatives, strategies, and programs
- Prospecting for new growth opportunities with both new and current 3M customers.
- Collaborating with 3M’s End-User Key Accounts Team to drive growth, through key end‑user customers
- Effectively and consistently managing your opportunity pipeline, while conducting strategic planning for new opportunities and regular business reviews for key markets and end‑user customers in the region.
This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre‑employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.
Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Eight (8) years of sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution
- Ten (10) years of sales or technical engineering in a private, public, government or military environment

Applicable to US Applicants OnlyThe expected compensation range for this position is $142,479 - $174,141, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
