The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations.
Target customers:
Restaurants, bars, delis, convenience stores, resorts, country clubs, concession stands, hotels, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and any food service establishments
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
- Effectively demonstrate product line
- Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
- Deliver solutions that drive measurable ROI for food service operators
- Strong knowledge of local territory and ability to self-generate leads
- CRM maintenance
- Generate leads independently while leveraging company-provided support
- Demonstrate strong follow-up and pipeline management skills
- 2+ years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
- Experience in food service sales, hospitality management
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
- Proven relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- Reliable transportation with valid
- Background check and drug test required
- Must live in Connecticut
- Base salary plus uncapped commissions
- Quarterly performance bonuses
