Role DescriptionThe role involves identifying and reaching out to potential advertisers and sponsors, building strong client relationships, and meeting sales targets consistently. Responsibilities include generating support for medical communications projects, negotiating contracts, managing advertising accounts, and collaborating with the marketing team to ensure campaigns are aligned with client goals. The role also includes providing training or guidance to clients on advertising and editorial solutions when needed.
Qualifications- Strong Sales and Marketing skills in medical publishing and medical education, with proven ability to meet targets and close deals for special projects involving sponsorship.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with knowledge of pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to present persuasive sales pitches on special projects for physician and health care audience.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Five years experience in healthcare publishing or media sales preferred. Experience in oncology projects a plus.
