This PE-backed software company serves independent retailers across the US with an all-in-one platform that runs inventory, POS, and operations. After 25 years of founder-led growth in the jewelry industry, the company was acquired by a growth equity firm and is on the precipice of launching its first cloud product. This hire will lead the charge on upgrading, repapering, and repricing the entire customer base as part of the cloud migration strategy.
You'll learn the product and build relationships with customers now, then execute the migration when the mobile product launches.
- Lead migration execution (moving from legacy model to subscription) across 4,000 customers as new mobile and cloud products launch
- Work closely with the CRO to inform the strategy
- Sell service contracts (holding a quota) to existing customers not currently on contract ($1M+ opportunity)
- Repaper and reprice customers as part of cloud migration strategy
- Handle objections around on-prem vs cloud with data-driven and consultative approach
- Build relationships across the customer base and learn the platform inside and out
- Collaborate with leadership on migration messaging and campaign strategy
- Migrated customers from on-prem or license-based software to SaaS subscriptions
- 4-6 years account management experience with execution-focused responsibilities
- Has worked with/managed unsophisticated buyers with confidence and data-driven responses
- Sold to SMB buyers, family-owned businesses, or retail customers
- Comfortable with ambiguity and building/adapting processes
- Hustler mentality with ability to move quickly through large customer bases
- Be based in the Northeast (ideal is CT, MA, PA, NY, NJ. RI. ME, NH. VT)
- Any experience in the jewelry industry!
- Vertical SaaS background serving retail or similar industries
- Huge plus if you can commute to Shelton, CT
