The Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders (IND) is seeking a Clinical Research Scheduling Specialist to serve as an operational hub of our research clinic. In this role, you'll partner with the research team, investigators and study participants to coordinate protocol-driven visits for groundbreaking clinical research focused on neurodegenerative disorders.

This is much more than a traditional scheduling position. You'll play a critical role in ensuring study visits occur within protocol timelines while delivering an exceptional participant experience and helping advance research.

• Coordinate and manage protocol-driven schedules for clinical research participants, ensuring study visits occur within required timelines while providing an exceptional participant experience.
• Partner with physicians, research coordinators, nurses, imaging teams, and external vendors to align participant visits, clinical resources, and study requirements.
• Optimize clinic operations by coordinating exam rooms, imaging equipment, and staff schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and participant data within the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS), ensuring timely documentation and compliance with study protocols.
• Serve as a key member of the clinical operations team, supporting process improvements, new technologies, and the successful execution of innovative clinical research studies.

• Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 2-3 years equivalent experience in a related medical scheduling position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Experience working in fast-paced healthcare or clinical environments.
• Comfortable learning new technology and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Clinical research experience is a plus but not required.

• Exposure to Ionizing radiation
• Biohazard exposure to human blood and bodily fluids
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
• Intermittent evening and weekend work may be required to support study activities.

IND’s multidisciplinary team includes neurologists, nurses, study coordinators, neuropsychologists, and nuclear medicine technologists collaborating on clinical research. The organization is dedicated to advancing diagnostic tools and new treatments for neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson's and related disorders. IND’s work focuses on early detection, effective therapies, and ultimately prevention of these neurologic diseases.
