Manager, Clinical Site Operations

The Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders (IND) is seeking an experienced Manager, Clinical Site Operations to lead the day-to-day operations of our New Haven research clinic.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing people leadership with operational excellence. As a working manager, you'll supervise, mentor, and develop the team while remaining actively engaged in the successful execution of clinical studies.

Working closely with Investigators, the Clinic Director, and cross-functional teams, you'll help drive operational excellence, remove barriers to study execution, support protocol implementation, and ensure compliance with ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.

• Lead the day-to-day operations of our clinical research team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Coach, mentor, and develop Clinical Research Coordinators, Clinical Research Nurses, and other research staff.
• Support the successful execution of multiple clinical trials by removing operational barriers and promoting efficient workflows.
• Partner with investigators and cross-functional teams to ensure protocol compliance, participant safety, and operational excellence.
• Champion quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the clinical research department.

We're looking for a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced clinical research environment and enjoys developing people as much as delivering operational results.

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, health-related, or business field, or an equivalent combination of education and clinical research experience.
• 5+ years of clinical research experience, including coordination or management of Phase I-IV clinical trials.
• 3+ years of experience leading, supervising, mentoring, or developing clinical research professionals.
• Strong knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and clinical research operations.
• Experience interpreting and implementing clinical research protocols and supporting sponsor monitoring visits, audits, or regulatory inspections.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Clinical research certification (ACRP, SOCRA, or equivalent) or the ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical research systems, including CTMS and EDC platforms.

The Institute for Neurodegenerative Disorders (IND) is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit research institute based in New Haven, Connecticut, founded in 2000. IND’s multidisciplinary team includes neurologists, nurses, study coordinators, neuropsychologists, and nuclear medicine technologists collaborating on clinical research. The organization is dedicated to advancing diagnostic tools and new treatments for neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s and related disorders.
