Electrician
Perform a wide range of electrical work on multiple projects throughout New Haven and Fairfield County, CT, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant installations and repairs across residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components across various project sites in New Haven and Fairfield County, CT.
- Perform wiring of electrical circuits, panels, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes of malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to restore proper operation.
- Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to verify functionality, safety, and compliance with regulations.
- Interpret and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to complete installations and repairs.
- Use appropriate tools, meters, and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical problems efficiently.
- Follow established safety procedures and best practices to minimize risk and maintain a safe work environment on all job sites.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to coordinate work, meet project timelines, and support smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including repairs, modifications, and materials used.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, colleagues, and customers regarding project status, identified issues, and recommended solutions.
- Hands-on experience performing electrical work on a variety of projects and environments.
- Strong proficiency in electrical wiring, including installation, repair, and modification of circuits and components.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment, accurately diagnose issues, and implement effective repairs.
- Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and the ability to apply them consistently on all job sites.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Competence using electrical tools and testing equipment such as multimeters and circuit testers.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to performing high-quality, code-compliant work.
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to manage tasks across multiple projects and locations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Haven, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
