Overview
Position located within Commander, Mid‑Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to provide beverage service in a dining room, bar/lounge facility.
Responsibilities- Set up bar for operation, including garnishes for mixed drinks.
- Mix and serve a limited variety of alcoholic or non‑alcoholic drinks to order, following established recipes.
- Serve patrons directly, receive payment, operate cash register, and make and return change.
- At close of facility, complete the Daily Activity Report, verify money collected, and deposit the cashier bag into the safe.
- Perform basic cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing bar equipment, glassware, utensils, and maintain a clean working area.
- Ensure all current sanitation requirements are followed and maintained.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Must pass all applicable background and records checks.
- Must successfully pass the E‑Verify employment verification check; any discrepancies must be resolved.
- Starting May 7, 2025, non‑affiliated individuals requesting access will require a REAL‑ driver's license or other acceptable identification to access CNRMA installations.
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and cash handling procedures to compute charges and make change accurately.
- Working knowledge of sanitation practices and procedures.
- Mature individual who can exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline.
- Working knowledge and skill to mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages from a limited bar.
- Minimum of six months experience strongly preferred.
This position does not have a positive education requirement.
