  • Support additional manufacturing safety initiatives including equipment inspections, compliance audits, and continuous safety improvements.
  • Collect electrical infrastructure information.
  • Coordinate electrical system analysis.
  • Perform or provide electrical safety training for qualified employees.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Hands‑on experience with machine guarding, machinery safety, industrial automation, manufacturing engineering, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSHA General Industry Standards and ANSI B11 standards.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software such as Solid Works or AutoCAD for designing machine guards and safety solutions strongly preferred.
  • Experience with industrial automation, electrical schematics, safety PLCs, safety relays, and machine control integration strongly preferred.
  • Ability to support the design, fabrication, installation, troubleshooting, and commission of machine guarding systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Comfortable working hands‑on with production equipment and using tools for guard installation, adjustment, and modifications.
