EMPLOYER INFORMATION Clifford Beers Community Care Center (CBCCC) is a mental health clinic serving children and families. Our mission is to provide integrated services addressing mental, physical, and social determinants in order to improve health, resiliency and quality of life for children, families and communities.

PURPOSE Under general supervision, the Bilingual Clinician is responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, crisis intervention, psychotherapy, case management, and care coordination services to children and families. This position is designated as bilingual and requires the ability to provide clinical services in both English and Spanish to support equitable access to care for the populations served by CBCCC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct intake interviews and complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.

Develop preliminary clinical assessments and DSM diagnoses, as appropriate.

Provide short-term and long-term individual, family, and group psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.

Deliver services in both English and Spanish, including conducting assessments, therapy sessions, crisis intervention, safety planning, and care coordination.

Translate clinical concepts accurately while maintaining professional standards and confidentiality.

Collaborate regularly with multidisciplinary staff to develop, review, and modify treatment plans.

Provide case management and coordinate community resources to meet client needs.

Respond to clinical crises and emergency situations as needed.

Serve as a liaison between clients, families, schools, medical providers, and community agencies.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and in-service trainings.

Provide leadership on peer groups, committees, and specialized teams as assigned.

Complete timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

TRAVEL This role may require travel throughout the Greater New Haven area each day Attendance at occasional in-home sessions, school-based meetings, report card conferences, and community events may be required based on client and program needs. While clinician schedules are primarily aligned with school hours to support the clinical needs of the school community from opening to closing, flexibility may occasionally be required to support after-school family engagement activities, conferences, or other school/community-related events.
