We are seeking a highly skilled backend/full‑stack engineer who not only writes code but architect elegant solutions. You should have extensive hands‑on experience with Python and FastAPI, understand how to build systems that scale, and be proficient with modern AI coding tools. Your work will involve delivering performant, reliable backend services and collaborating effectively across teams.

This position is fully remote with an expectation to travel quarterly to our office in New Haven, CT.

• Strong expertise in FastAPI and comparable Python web frameworks (Django, Flask) with dependency injection, middleware, and OpenAPI/Swagger integration.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles, versioning strategies, and documentation standards.

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Git Hub Actions.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (pytest, unittest) and testing strategies.
