About You:

  • Class A CDL
  • Must know basic hand tools.
  • Must have a basic knowledge of reading a tape measure.
  • Hard-working and goal-oriented.

  • Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as required.

Primary Objective: Our CDL Drivers / Installers support the install of gypsum and concrete based products.

  • Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
  • Assist other crew members as necessary.
  • Use small tools and perform basic equipment repair.
  • Operating a bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
  • Setting up the hose for pouring and connecting to the mixer.
  • Finish the poured Gypcrete floor.
  • Breaking open bags of gypcrete and pouring them into a mixer.
  • Carrying supplies onto a job site.

Delivery Truck Driver at Construction Resources (CT area)

Starting wage is based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Construction Resources offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits.

  • Full-time position
  • This role is responsible for all functions related to the vehicle, including the pre-trip report (DVIR), ensuring the truck is loaded properly, the material is secured to the truck, delivery of materials to the customer location, and processing of all customer delivery paperwork.
  • Safely operate a heavy-load truck.
  • Ensure all material is properly secured at the beginning of the shift and continuously monitor after each delivery.
  • Ensure that all customer supporting paperwork is completed and returned at the end of each shift.
  • Collect, document, and properly secure money received to ensure alignment with customer paperwork.
  • Report any issues or incidents related to material damage or customer matters to dispatch.
  • Perform the daily truck inspection, pre- and post-trip (DVIR).
  • Seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor.
  • Perform and document inspections to ensure truck and equipment are kept in good condition.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience with a proven track record of safe driving.
  • Possession of a CDL (type A or

    B) Commercial driver's license.
