Our S r Accountant is a key contributor in reviewing and analyzing both routine and highly complex accounting transactions , adherence to US GAAP , and delivering timely and accurate financial reporting. The Sr Accountant maintain s the general ledger , ensur es all subsidiary accounts are properly reconciled in alignment with LDI's accounting policies, and partner s closely with subsidiaries to ensure complete documentation and audit evidence .
In addition to identifyi ng and recommend ing process improvements and resolving issues, this role leads cross
-functional projects and serves as a technical expert on accounting matters and systems enhancements . Th e ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, professional judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
This full-time position will report to the Manager Accounting at our headquarter location in New Hope , Minnesota .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Ensure timely and accurate P&L and Balance Sheet accounting in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies, while monitoring regulatory compliance and supporting annual audit and tax filing processes.
- Perform month - end close procedures and prepare general ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare and record journal entries.
- Lead technical system upgrades and enhancement projects.
- Manage project planning and execution, including scope definition , timelines, budgets, and resource coordination , while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Serve as a resource for GAAP-related questions and training and document technical accounting policies in memorandums.
- Support the annual audit process, through coordination with external auditors, preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation, and addressing audit inquiries.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, approval levels, and separation of duties across accounting processes.
- Assist department with creating and updating accounting process documentation.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, standards, and procedures, serv e as a liaison between LDI divisions and corporate accounting to ensure consistent application and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Train new and current employees in accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistent understanding and compliance.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of data to support business decision - making.
- Promote continuous improvement in project management and accounting processes by identifying, designing, and implementing best-practice solutions across LDI and its divisions to enhance productivity, engagement, and operational efficiency.

- Bachelor's degree in A ccounting , Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in general financial accounting and reporting . A pplicants with fewer years of experience may be considered if they hold additional qualifications outlined under Preferred Education, Experience and Skills.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.
- Demonstrated experience in general ledger accounting , financial consolidation , technical accounting research, and audit procedures .
- Strong project management capabilities and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn and navigate effectively in JD Edwards ERP and One Stream systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

- Experience in both public and private accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools .
- Knowledge of internal controls and audit processes .
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Experience leading system upgrades or enhancements .
- Financial experience in manufacturing environment .
The starting base salary range for this position is $ 88,226 - $110,282 per year . The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses.
