Product Line Manager – Responsibilities
- Responsible for the product line (product, promotion, pricing, and channel) for a defined portfolio of products to drive sales and margin expansion.
- Develop and manage the product portfolio strategy including leading the multi-generational product roadmap development process in line with division strategic plans and defining customer requirements/needs and government & regulatory standards.
- Ownership of the product life cycle management of the product portfolio including conducting complexity and reduction analysis.
- Participate in the development and implementation of appropriate response strategies.
- Develop product value propositions and be accountable for new product launches.
- Investigates market needs for innovative products and works with engineering to appropriately prioritize product development efforts for the product line.
- Support customer segmentation through various means such as conducting market research, monitoring competitors and maintaining product literature, catalogs, technical bulletins, etc.
- Attend customer visits, sales conferences, trade shows, as required.
- Four (4) year degree, preferably in engineering, engineering technology or a business discipline. MBA desired.
- Minimum four (4) years’ product management experience.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft office applications and Salesforce)
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem solving and resolution skills with a team focus
- Travel up to 25%
This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
Pay and Benefits- Pay Range: $88,000 to $146,400 annually
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
