Project Supervisor

Job Overview

A Project Supervisor at West Central Environmental Consultants (WCEC) and SET Environmental is responsible for leading one or more crews on scheduled and emergency response-based projects.

• Lead one or more crews on both scheduled and emergency response-based projects.
• Ensure the health and safety of the crew, customer, and site.
• Adhere to SET safety policies and procedures by identifying, communicating, and mitigating hazards.
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships.
• Coordinate equipment and supplies for project needs.
• Oversee various environmental projects ranging from, but not limited to:
  • Confined Space Entry (CSE)
  • Environmental remediation
  • Waterway response
  • Hazardous materials clean-up

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years verifiable industry experience.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training, or ability to obtain OSHA 30, or ability to obtain Confined Space Entry and Rescue Training, or ability to obtain basic chemical knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to respond to out-of-town projects as needed.
• Ability to respond to ER call-outs and participate in on-call rotation including weekends.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
• Must pass DOT physical including drug and alcohol screening.
