Location: Avtec Finishing – New Hope, Minnesota
Shift: Day Shift | 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Mon-Thur & 7:30 am - 3:30 pm Fri
Pay: Starting at $26.00/hour
Signing Bonus: $1,500 (New hires only. Current employees are not eligible.)

As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk at Avtec Finishing, you'll help keep materials, customer orders, and finished products moving accurately and efficiently through our manufacturing operation.
Our work supports the medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial manufacturing industries, where shipping accuracy, organization, inventory control, and on-time delivery matter.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying organized, operating forklifts and material handling equipment, working independently, and taking ownership of getting shipments right.

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving incoming customer and vendor shipments, preparing outgoing customer orders, maintaining accurate shipping and inventory records, and supporting production by ensuring materials and finished products move efficiently throughout the facility.
You'll work closely with production and other departments to make sure incoming materials get where they need to go and completed customer orders are packaged, documented, and shipped accurately and on time.
Success in this position requires accuracy, organization, urgency, dependable attendance, and strong internal and external customer service.
Essential Responsibilities- Receive and process incoming customer and vendor shipments.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
- Stage incoming customer work and materials for production.
- Deliver scheduled work and materials to production departments.
- Retrieve completed work from production and prepare it for shipment.
- Package finished products carefully and accurately.
- Prepare shipping documentation, certifications, labels, packing lists, and related paperwork.
- Coordinate UPS, LTL, and other carrier shipments.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
- Help ensure products and materials are properly identified, stored, and secured throughout the warehouse.
- Communicate shipping or receiving issues promptly to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain an organized and safe work area.
- Follow company safety, quality, security, and operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
