Commerical Roofing Service Foreman

Horizon Roofing is seeking motivated individuals for a fast‑paced, physical work environment. Employees are required to communicate with their Foreman to complete daily project goals and adhere to strong attention to detail.

Pre‑Employment Screening: physical, drug screening, and background check required.

This position requires at least five years of roofing experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to climb, stand, walk, lift, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time.

• Install and repair roofs and flashings.
• Remove old roofing materials (tear off).
• Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for applying new roofing materials.
• Clean work areas and equipment.
• Load or unload materials.
• Lay insulation and roofing membrane.
• Glue and prime.
• Roll walls and seams.
• Nail off roof edge.
• Properly install vapor and air barrier systems.
• Wrap and finish curbs, pipes, flues, scuppers, pitch pans, and all roof‑related details on EPDM and thermoplastic roof systems.
• Utilize induction welding to attach TPO or PVC roof systems.
• Understand the use of and operate rooftop equipment.
• Reinforced perimeter strip – pre details.
• Lay out fastening patterns.
• Cut and install tapered insulation systems and crickets.
• Install drains and other drainage provisions.
• Set rolls, cut curbs and pipes.
• Layout and install walkway pads and pavers.
• Understand shop drawings and blueprints.
• Work independently on assigned tasks.
• Perform quality control.
• Complete career training when available.
• Assist with other day‑to‑day duties as requested.

• Act as a safety monitor.
• Perform ground monitoring.
• Signal cranes and forklifts.
• Set up ladders, scaffolds, and hoists.
• Set up flag lines and perimeter guard rail systems.
• Maintain flag lines, perimeter guard rail systems, and all fall protection safety measures.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and guidelines.
• Utilize and maintain all PPE.

• $35.00 to $50.00 an hour – based on experience and skill level.
