Project Manager
The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects to ensure they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role collaborates closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams, managing all phases of the project lifecycle from inception through completion while driving effective communication, risk mitigation, and successful outcomes.
Responsibilities- Manage construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts throughout the life of each project.
- Coordinate regularly with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain clear communication and resolve issues promptly.
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and submittals to ensure accurate execution in the field.
- Track project costs, change orders, requests for information (RFIs), and procurement activities to maintain financial and contractual control.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders and provide regular status updates on progress, risks, and key decisions.
- Ensure all projects comply with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, address project-related challenges, and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and closeout packages.
- Assist with estimating, budgeting, and value engineering efforts as needed to support project planning and cost optimization.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
- Collaborate effectively with field personnel and office staff, supporting teamwork while working independently when required.
- Support the management of commercial construction projects, including retail, restaurant, corporate office, manufacturing, renovation, and facilities maintenance work.
- 3–5 years of construction project management experience.
- Experience managing commercial, healthcare, education, retail, or institutional construction projects (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, scheduling, and cost control.
- Proficiency with project management and construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite (a plus).
- Demonstrated project management skills, including coordination, change order management, and cost tracking.
- Experience with commercial construction, estimation, and retail projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to direct project teams and subcontractors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
- Valid SST (Site Safety Training) card (required).

This role operates in a mixed office and field environment, with approximately 70% of time spent in the office and 30% in the field at project sites. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.…
