Registered Nurse - RMA of New York - Long Island (New Hyde Park, NY)
Summary: RMA Long Island IVF (LI IVF) is seeking a part-time RN to meet the needs of its growing program. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a comprehensive state-of-the-art infertility treatment program that includes general clinical, in vitro fertilization (IVF), ambulatory surgery suite and/or third-party reproduction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Level 1 established-patient consultations
- Treatment cycle (OM, OI, IVF) coordination
- Screening checklist
- Patient orientation
- Cycle scheduling
- Calling with dosage instructions
- Phone and email triage
- Present urgent issues to physician
- Fill in for medical assistant when not available
- Phlebotomy
- Measuring vital signs
- Assist doctors with procedures
- New patient discharge
- Current valid RN license
