Join a reputable and expanding employer in Garden City Park, NY that is hiring experienced Diesel Truck Mechanics to maintain and repair their fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks, including semis, dump trucks, box trucks, flatbeds, and Reefer trucks.

Shifts:
Multiple shifts available:
- Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday
- Friday) - Afternoons, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Monday
- Friday) - Midnight - 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Monday
- Friday)
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance services
- Maintain work area safety
- Conduct diesel repairs, service, and diagnostics
- Service customers and handle road calls
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions
- Work with minimal supervision
- Inspect trucks for proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance
- Inspect, test, and diagnose defective equipment
- Repair major components (engine, transmission, differentials)
- Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of diesel/automotive mechanic experience
- Strong diagnostic troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills
- Diesel Mechanic/Technical training
- ASE certification is not required but, nice to have
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
- Strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have your own set of tools
- Must pass pre-employment checks (Criminal Record, Drug Screening, MVR)
