Commercial Carpenter

Seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters for construction and renovation projects throughout NYC and Long Island. Responsibilities include steel stud framing, drywall, ceilings, doors, and finish carpentry. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, work independently, and produce high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining jobsite safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install steel stud framing, drywall, ceilings, and doors
• Perform finish carpentry including trim, millwork, and hardware installation
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and specifications
• Measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow OSHA regulations and all site safety requirements
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision while collaborating with team members

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience
• Strong steel stud framing and finish carpentry skills
• Experience with ceilings and door installation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• OSHA 30 + SST Card Required
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Own basic hand tools and PPE

Work Environment:

Commercial construction sites throughout NYC and Long Island. Typical hours are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with overtime available based on project needs. Hard hat, safety vest, work boots, and other PPE are required at all times.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
