Finance Role
In this versatile position, you will support our finance department at the interface between controlling and accounting. You will contribute to monthly and annual financial statements, accompany project controlling, and ensure transparent and reliable financial data. Additionally, you will assist in ongoing accounting processes, working capital management, and the development of our internal controls.
Your contributions include:
- Conducting essential month-end activities independently – from postings and account reconciliations to the recording of business transactions in the ERP system
- Supporting monthly and annual reporting by preparing reliable financial data, sound analyses, and meaningful decision-making bases
- Monitoring the economic development of our projects through budget tracking, recalculations, cash flow forecasts, and invoicing controls
- Maintaining relevant master data and further developing meaningful financial reports
- Working in the day-to-day operations of the financial accounting department, including bank postings, customer invoices, cost allocations, and account monitoring
- Supporting the optimization of our working capital, particularly in inventory and receivables management as well as in the collection process
- Documenting and maintaining finance-related internal controls and contributing to their development – including SOX requirements
- As needed, supporting the accounts payable department, for example, in invoice posting, payment preparation, and maintenance of supplier master data
- Creating financial analyses and ad-hoc evaluations as a solid basis for entrepreneurial decisions
Your profile includes:
- Successfully completed a degree in business administration, financial management, accounting, or a comparable field
- Initial relevant professional experience – ideally one to three years – or qualified internships in controlling and/or accounting
- Proficient use of common Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous
- Independent, proactive, and meticulous work
- Team spirit, flexibility, and a sense of responsibility characterize you
- Motivated and ready to learn about new topics, processes, and systems
- Excellent German language skills in speech and writing
- Basic English language skills in speech and writing
