Specialist Engineer Contract And Change Management

We are looking for you as a specialist engineer contract and change management (w/m/d) for the DB Projekt Stuttgart-Ulm GmbH at the location of Stuttgart.

• You are responsible for the support and management of complex construction, architect, and engineering contracts with a huge order volume and take over the contract and change management for these
• Furthermore, you conduct the legal and contract-related correspondence and participate in enforcing contract claims and ensuring the contract-compliant provision of services
• In case of contract deviations, you independently develop contract-compliant solutions in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
• Checking change requests in terms of content and amount, preparing and conducting change negotiations, negotiating and concluding change orders as well as participating in and shaping agreements are part of your duties
• Within the change management, you coordinate all parties involved in the change process (especially contractors, construction supervision, project engineers, legal department, and purchasing)
• You ensure the rule- and process-compliant project execution in contractual terms and are a competent contact person in contractual matters

• Successfully completed professional / university studies as a civil engineer, construction project manager, industrial engineer or a comparable qualification and many years of experience in contract and change management of complex infrastructure or large projects
• You have sound knowledge of contract law (VOB, HOAI), construction management, and calculation and apply these confidently
• Negotiation skills, assertiveness, conflict and consensus ability as well as a keen sense for the right mix of these characterize you
• You have an independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working with a high quality focus and an outstanding team and communication skills
• Furthermore, you are looking for a varied, exciting, and responsible job in which you can contribute independently and autonomously to the success of the large project
