The Engine Department is responsible for the holistic planning and procurement of production facilities for the assembly and manufacturing of passenger car and van engines.
Your responsibilities will include participating in the project coordination and industrialization of engines from the early, strategic phase with product development to the series start of the product in the factory. Furthermore, the production systems in the series must be permanently optimized through continuous improvement and adapted to product changes in the lifecycle. For your internship, we offer interesting insights into operational project management, internal processes and associated interface processes, such as production, assembly, and material flow planning, etc.,
as well as the global orientation of our production sites in connection with our planning location of the Stuttgart-Untertürkheim plant.
These challenges will come your way:
- Participation in the conception, planning, and realization of production facilities and their associated processes
- Support in the definition and implementation of partly strategic but also technical projects
- Cooperation with the relevant departments
- Participation in the location and capacity considerations of our production systems
The activity can start in September 2026.
Qualifications:
- Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
- Secure German and English language skills in speech and writing
- Secure handling of MS-Office
- Commitment and team capability
- Analytical and strategic thinking
