Product Management Internship - Large Cars

Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales (SC) includes the functions of sales, after-sales, marketing, and product management of Mercedes-Benz Cars and takes care of the development of the worldwide sales organization. Our goal is the successful and sustainable shaping of the worldwide sales of Mercedes-Benz Cars, highest customer satisfaction, and the continuous expansion of the success of our brands.

Product management is part of the Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales board area.

Product management large cars represents the sales and customer interests in the vehicle project for new and series vehicles and is the contact point for the development project in all sales-related issues. Product management is the central interface between the vehicle development project, the central areas of sales and communication, and the international markets.

Our department is responsible for the following series:

  • New product projects of the vehicle architecture (MB.EA-L)
  • S-Class
  • GLE/GLS
  • EVA2 series (EQS, EQS SUV, EQE, EQE SUV)

In this internship, we are specifically looking for support within our teams for the vehicle architecture MB.EA-L.

These challenges come to you, among others:

  • Participation in the new product project of the vehicle architecture MB.EA-L
  • Conducting competitive analyses, target group and market analyses, pricing and positioning approaches, and offer logics in the sedan and SUV segment
  • Creation of decision templates for various boards
  • Coordination and cooperation with the international sales regions and market contacts
  • Content organization, preparation, execution, and follow-up of meetings, event planning and coordination

Qualifications:

  • Degree in economics, business administration, economics, industrial engineering, or a comparable course of study
  • Secure German and English language skills in speech and writing
  • Secure handling of MS-Office, especially PowerPoint, Outlook, and One Note

  • High comprehension, passion, and integrative in interdisciplinary teams to work
  • Creativity and a high degree of self-initiative as well as flexibility
