Mercedes-Benz Vans Quality Management Internship

As an intern in the quality parts department, you will have the opportunity to contribute your knowledge and experience, as well as the chance to develop yourself personally.
Quality is a central component of the Mercedes-Benz strategy. As part of the quality management of Mercedes-Benz Vans, we shape the product development of our electric VAN series in the project quality department. We align all activities with the high standards of our customers and actively participate from the start of the project.
We, the project quality parts team, have diverse and exciting tasks:
- Supporting the department head in the creation of top management documents
- Preparing and following up on top management appointments including committee management
- Coordinating cross-departmental topics
- Reporting on KPI development of quality-relevant data and top topics
- Organizing, accompanying, and shaping management workshops and events
These challenges await you:
- You work cross-functionally with product management, purchasing, production, development, and logistics in agile project teams
- You support the creation of presentations, process representations, etc., such as laying out reports according to standard and gradually filling them (after data availability)
- You optimize reporting through the use of internal digital tools
- You act as a coordinator for cross-departmental communication and the follow-up of quality-related milestones
- You ensure that the term feedbacks are recorded in the system and kept up to date
- You participate in workshops on exciting quality-related challenges in an international environment
- You look for solutions rather than problems – it is natural for you to take a driving role in the project

Qualifications:
- You are studying in the field of business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable course
- You have secure German and English language skills in writing and speaking
- You are proficient in using MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- You have an interest in project management in an international environment
- You convince with your quick understanding, especially of technical and economic problems, and with your structured, independent way of working
- Due to your pronounced team capability and communication skills, you enjoy making new contacts and engaging with other people’s opinions.
Please note that your internship at this location must include a mandatory required component.
