Job Title
We are developing the main drive for future Mercedes-Benz vehicles – the eATS 2.0 from the fully electric CLA, GLC, and upcoming vehicles.
Your task is to support in project management and specification of the load book for the Mercedes-Benz electric drive. As part of our team, you will work independently on current issues and projects in the electrified powertrain and support the project management and development engineers in their tasks.
You organize the creation and structuring of the load book and coordinate content with various experts. You will intensively engage with the electrical and mechanical aspects of the electric drive and deliver a measurable contribution to the sustainability goal of Mercedes-Benz.
We offer you the opportunity to gain deep insights into the development of electric drives and experience the day-to-day life of a development engineer up close.
You will work on the following tasks:
- Independent coordination of open technical questions with all colleagues and suppliers involved in the development process
- Preparation, organization, and conduct of expert interviews and project meetings
- Structuring and creation of load book contents
- Presentation and documentation of status and progress in the load book
- Documentation of test results and status tracking of the validation phase
- Creation and preparation of meaningful decision-making documents and schedules

Qualifications- Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
- Completed undergraduate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient use of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), basic MATLAB knowledge is advantageous
- In-depth knowledge and systemic understanding of electric drive components such as electric motors and power electronics
- In-depth knowledge of gearbox components
- Analytical and innovative thinking
- Motivation for cross-disciplinary technical topics
- Sense of responsibility and goal orientation
- Strong team skills and openness
- Secure German and English language skills in writing and speaking
- Driver’s license class B
