Project Manager In Rail Sector (M/W/D)

Hitachi Rail Gts Deutschland Gmbh is looking for a project manager in rail sector (m/w/d) in full-time or part-time at our location in Ditzingen.

As a project manager, you will steer customer projects commercially especially for the german railway and other railway companies from planning to successful commissioning. You will apply modern project management methods, take the technical leadership of site-wide teams and coordinate all areas and trades involved in the project. Together with us, you will make an important contribution to the mobility transition and digitalization of the rail sector in Germany.

This also includes the following tasks:

• You will take the cost, time, and quality responsibility, keep the whole in hand and thus take responsibility for our complex infrastructure projects
• You will be the central contact person for our customers as well as for internal teams such as sales, contract management, technical project engineering or our assembly
• You will plan and monitor costs, dates as well as risks in your projects and manage all commercial aspects
• As a representative, you will ensure the fulfillment of the contractual agreements, secure customer satisfaction and at the same time ensure the economic profitability
• You will coordinate the cooperation with subcontractors, external trades and other company units
• In the offer phase, you will advise our sales team and bid team, create internal as well as external management reports during the project implementation and follow up on corresponding changes for our customers

What you bring with you:

• You have a successfully completed degree in economics, (technical) business administration, industrial engineering or comparable, ideally with a focus on project management
• Your experience in project management of customer-related, complex projects is solid and you can best support your project experience with a project certificate such as ipma level c
• Ideally, you have already experience in the field of train signaling and safety technology
• The technical leadership of a project team to self-organization is also your strength as well as taking responsibility
• You communicate clearly and goal-oriented, keep all project participants informed and represent your projects internally and externally sovereignly – also in case of challenges you manage the balancing act between quality, time and budget and make well-founded decisions
• Your language skills in German are fluent and you are ready for national business trips for customer visits and site inspections
