This portfolio includes, among other things, injection technology, including advanced common-rail technology.

Our products are used in the modern large engines and fuel cells of ships, power plants, railways, and other applications.

We are looking for students (m/w/d) for the completion of a bachelor's or master's thesis (duration 6 months) for the root cause analysis and further development of a control valve for suction throttling of common-rail high-pressure pumps.

The aim of the work is to develop, through a root cause analysis, improvement measures that eliminate the recurring need for readjustment and maintain control and closing quantities.

Your tasks:

• Measurement validation of existing control valves
• Independently conducting and supervising experiments using Design of Experiments (DoE), as well as evaluating and assessing the results of experiments
• Constructive and experimental solution finding to improve the functionality of injection systems
• Internal presentation and documentation of results

Your profile:

• Study in the field of mechanical engineering, vehicle technology or equivalent
• Interest in the topic of injection technology
• Analytical thinking, team skills, and independent work
• Hands-on skills
• Good PC skills
