This responsibility you will gladly face:

As a Technical Project Manager for Cable Deep Construction (m/w/d), you will take the technical overall responsibility for the realization of cable deep construction in our rail projects – particularly for cable laying, cable routes and crossings, but also for foundations and certain superstructure measures. From the derivation of the technical requirements to the implementation on the construction site and its acceptance, you will manage subcontractors, make technical decisions and thus support our commercial project managers as the central contact person for internal and external stakeholders.

Together with you, we make an important contribution to the digitalization of the rail world and create the basis for modern control and signaling technology.

This also includes the following tasks:

• You coordinate the cooperation between the client, internal interfaces and subcontractors, conduct regular site visits and check the construction progress as well as possible defects and damages on site
• You analyze deep construction-relevant requirements from project contracts particularly of our main customer, the German Railway, and derive concrete measures for their implementation
• You support our project managers with your technical expertise in tender documents as well as in tender procedures and accompany the contractual processing of planning, service and construction services
• In negotiations with subcontractors with our purchasing department and project management, you bring in your professional expertise
• You support us in change order management – both towards our customer and towards our suppliers
• In addition, you support the planning and time management of our projects and identify cost savings potentials in order to increase the economic efficiency of the construction measures

What you bring with you:

• You have a successfully completed degree in the field of civil engineering, infrastructure management, industrial engineering construction or a comparable technical field, ideally with a focus on project management
• Alternatively, you have several years of professional experience, for example as a construction site manager or project engineer in cable deep construction, particularly in infrastructure measures with project responsibility
• You have in-depth knowledge of the planning, tendering and implementation of cable deep construction and infrastructure measures and are ideally familiar with the particular challenges of construction projects in the rail sector
• Relevant standards, guidelines and contractual documents (HOAI, VOB, DIN) are known to you, ideally you bring experience in construction measures in the rail industry according to DB guideline Ril 836
• As a team player, you technically drive all stakeholders forward, while independently advancing topics, communicating and negotiating confidently with all internal and external stakeholders
• Your German language skills are fluent and you are ready for national business trips to visit our construction sites
