As a student, you will actively support our development team in the design and further development of mechanical components in the rail sector and gain practical insights into the daily work of development engineers.
This also includes the following tasks:
- You are involved in the development of rail switches, signals, and axle counters
- With your technical know-how, you create 3D models and drawings in PTC Creo
- You take responsibility for creating and maintaining parts lists and managing databases
- You implement production-related requirements and change requests in a structured and practical manner
- Calculations and simulations are also part of your responsibilities to validate developments
- You independently work on smaller, defined development tasks and bring in your own ideas
What you bring with you:
- You are enrolled in a mechanical engineering program or a comparable engineering science program
- CAD knowledge – ideally in PTC Creo – as well as a confident use of MS Office are part of your toolkit
- Your working style is independent, committed, and reliable
- With a quick understanding and initiative, you also work your way into complex topics
- Team skills and communication strength characterize you in everyday work
- Very good German or English skills round off your profile
