Woodward L'Orange is pioneering modern technology for sustainable solutions: components and systems for the energy conversion systems of the future. With around 1,200 employees at locations in Stuttgart, Glatten, Wolfratshausen, and Rellingen, we develop and produce a wide range of components for the control, dosing, and preparation of today's and future fuels (PTX). This portfolio includes, among other things, injection technology, including advanced common-rail technology.

Our products are used in modern large engines and fuel cells of ships, power plants, railways, and other applications.

For the Product Development / Design Engineering department, we are looking for a student (m/w/d) to support the department in the context of an internship (mandatory or voluntary or in combination) for 6 months.

• Participation in the development of new concepts and products
• Construction of components and assemblies in 3D-CAD (Creo CAD)
• Creation of technical drawings and documentations
• Conducting component calculations, space investigations, and feasibility analyses
• Research on materials, manufacturing processes, and technical solutions
• Close cooperation in the team of construction / product development as well as in adjacent areas such as validation and pre-development

• Current studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, product development, technical design, or comparable courses
• Basic knowledge of CAD construction
• Technical understanding and analytical thinking
