Series Development Of Electric Drives Eats
2.0 Plus For Amg
The Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With the Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
The core competence of the center is the development and testing of electric drives and transmissions as well as all essential powertrain components, such as side and joint shafts. Only the perfect interaction of all components results in a system that provides driving pleasure, driving comfort, and optimal efficiency.
The department is responsible for the first Mercedes-Benz internally developed and internally produced electric drive (eats
2.0), which is used in compact cars as well as in cars of the middle class up to the upper class including amg. From the volume segment to amg, this drive offers a wide range of performance and torque.
The team is developing the high-performance amg eats derivatives on the one hand, and on the other hand the successor of eats
2.0 for the s-class.
The internship position "series development of electric drives eats
2.0 plus for amg" includes the thematic accompaniment of the regular communication between development and series, the documentation of requirements as well as the processing of a selectable technical topic around the eats. An additional component is the expansion of ai in the processes of drive development.
These challenges come to you, among others:
- Participation in the development reko with amg including ai-supported protocol management and agenda coordination
- Support in data maintenance and the load book documentation around the electric drive
- Selection/processing of a technical topic around the electric drive including tracking, communication and regular reports
- Implementation of ai support in close cooperation with colleagues
The activity can start in october 2026.
Qualifications:
- university studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, or comparable
- secure handling of microsoft office
- affinity for work in the digital environment including its tools as well as ai
- experience in the field of powertrain development, in-depth knowledge in the field of eats- or hybrid development is an advantage
- negotiation-safe german and english language skills
- reliable processing of complex problems in interdisciplinary teams
- communication and team skills, resilience
