Universal Banker

Role Overview:

The position involves delivering high-quality customer service in a retail banking environment, processing financial transactions, and opening accounts. It requires introducing bank products through outreach, recommending tailored solutions, and supporting sales and operational goals.

• Support teller and platform functions to minimize client wait times, including processing deposits, handling currency, and opening various deposit accounts.
• Identify client needs via consultative conversations and recommend appropriate products and services.
• Open and process demand and time deposit accounts, including savings, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.
• Cross-sell services and refer clients to partners to deepen relationships and generate new business.
• Conduct outbound calls to clients and prospects, participate in campaigns, and assist with loan applications, directing them to the appropriate team members.

• Resolve client inquiries, research issues, and deliver excellent service promptly.
• Enhance product knowledge through training and continuous learning.

• Adhere to bank policies, regulations, internal controls, and ethical standards.
• Assist with daily operations, audit controls, and training new associates.
• Stay informed of operational updates to ensure compliance.

High school diploma or GED with preferred experience as a Teller. Must pass background, credit checks, and meet S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act requirements. Ability to perform all duties satisfactorily with relevant skills and knowledge.
