Speech Therapist Coordinator

IMC is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist Coordinator (ST Coordinator) to join our dynamic Rehabilitation Services team. Under the general supervision of the Director of Rehab Services, the ST Coordinator will oversee the administration, management, and direct application of Speech‑Language Pathology treatments and modalities as prescribed by referring physicians. Services are provided across inpatient, outpatient, and acute care settings with experience in modified barium swallow studies being highly recommended.

This position also includes leadership responsibilities for coordinating and managing all Speech Therapy (ST) staffing and scheduling. IMC offers a team‑oriented environment with flexible scheduling to support work‑life balance, family commitments, and professional development.

• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from an approved school.

• Current valid SLP Licensure in Louisiana, or a temporary permit granted by state board.

• Successful completion of long-term clinical rotations in inpatient and outpatient environments from an accredited ST school, or one year of recent experience in inpatient or outpatient practice.

• Assist Director of rehab with development and maintenance of Speech policies and procedures
• Assist with scheduling of patients
• Documentation of patient care
• Assist with daily operations of outpatient and inpatient rehab services
• Coordinate and schedule ST coverage through use of PRN or Contract services
