The Human Resources Generalist at Chart Industries provides both strategic and day-to-day HR support, serving as a primary point of contact for employees, leaders, and candidates. This role supports plant and office operations through full-cycle recruiting, employee relations, HR policy administration, training coordination, site communications, and accurate maintenance of employee records.

What Will You Do?
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR’s strategic value to the business.
  • Lead and coordinate training initiatives for managers and employees to ensure understanding of Chart’s Code of Conduct, compliance requirements, positive employee relations, and other company-wide programs and policies.
  • Administer and support employee benefit programs in collaboration with the Centers of Expertise (COE).
  • Champion the HR strategy and influence key stakeholders to align with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to the successful execution of the HR business plan.
  • Support the implementation of Chart’s HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent application and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts, including partnering with hiring managers to assess staffing needs, posting positions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and Chart’s Strategic Staffing Model.
  • Facilitate Onboarding and conduct New Hire Orientations
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations matters, including harassment, discrimination, and other workplace concerns.
  • Participate in discipline and termination processes, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies across the organization.
