With responsibility for a wide portfolio - from data center, platforms, digital workplace, enterprise architecture or global service delivery models - PT/TE forms the information technology basis of our daily work and the digital transformation of our company. The PT/TE is responsible for, among other things, the IT infrastructure purchase-to-pay, the Service Now platform as well as the target operating model of IT.

We are looking for an upcoming, motivated data scientist with a passion for learning and new challenges for the team Quality & Governance. In doing so, you will get to know state-of-the-art tools and methods.

These challenges come to you, among others:

• Collaboration on data management projects in an interdisciplinary project environment with direct contact to the departments
• Support in the development of powerful and scalable PowerBI dashboards, as well as the definition of efficient data structures for analyses and reports.
• Data cleaning (preparing, filtering, normalizing)
• Data analysis (recognizing clusters, tracking outliers, recognizing trends, recording statistics)
• Project-supporting activities such as the preparation and follow-up of project dates as well as the creation of presentations, decision-making and communication documents

Qualifications:

• Ongoing study in the field of data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics or a comparable qualification
• Affinity for data and interest in technology topics such as data catalog, data & analytics, data governance, data science, data management and data quality
• Secure handling of MS-Office as well as IT and internet affinity, PowerBI
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R or SQL, ideally first experiences with Databricks are advantageous
• Interest in data analysis, machine learning and business intelligence tools
• Secure German and English skills in speech and writing
• Secure handling of MS-Office
• Independent and responsible working, intercultural competence, commitment and initiative
• Proficient analytical and conceptual skills, methodical working method with high creativity, communication and team skills

Please note that your internship at this location must have a prescribed compulsory component
