This is the role you will embrace:

As a Configuration Engineer for System Solutions (M/W/D), you will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the configuration management system for our technical system solutions. You will ensure that information on hardware, software, data, and documents is consistently and of high quality available.

This also includes the following tasks:

• You will convert the organizational requirements of customer projects and specific customer requirements into a detailed configuration management plan
• You will actively support our installation and deployment team by analyzing the contractual requirements for configuration management and participating in phase reviews and configuration audits
• You will implement the measures defined in the configuration management plan and monitor their compliance by the relevant project stakeholders
• You will coordinate the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and are responsible for the creation of build scripts for software deployment
• Your area of responsibility also includes the selection of relevant configuration elements based on predefined criteria for continuous monitoring
• Finally, you will be responsible for creating technical baselines and project structures by identifying configuration units and mapping them in the used CM-tools

What you bring to the table:

• You have a degree in a technical field and relevant experience in configuration management
• Alternatively, you have extensive knowledge in documentation management and have already worked in technical projects, especially in the area of the product life cycle and development processes
• You act process-oriented and are always striving to drive improvements and positive changes
• Knowledge in Jira, Shared Palma, Clear Case, Clear Quest, CMCS, DOORS, and VBA is advantageous
• You speak German fluently and have good English skills
• Your structured and self-motivated working style, as well as your strong problem-solving and communication skills, complete your profile
