Location: New Iberia, LA

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably supporting product data, PLM, or PDM environments
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Product Data Management (PDM) systems
• Excellent technical writing, editing, proofreading, and documentation skills
• Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly documentation
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts
• Experience using content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of documentation standards, style guides, and best practices

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather and analyze technical information
• Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, data sheets, user guides, process documentation, training materials, release notes, FAQs, and knowledge base articles
• Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, complete, and aligned with established style guides and terminology
• Organize and maintain documentation within content management systems (CMS) and PLM/PDM platforms
• Review, edit, and proofread documentation for technical accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency
  
  Create documentation supporting product data management processes, data validation, and configuration updates
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes, tools, and content standards
• Support internal training by developing instructional materials and documentation resources
• Stay current on industry best practices in technical writing, documentation management, and product data systems
