The Quality Assistant-Process Release is based at the New Iberia onshore facility. The employee will be required to ensure that all production activities, inspections, tests, repairs, materials, equipment, and associated documentation meet internal standards, contractual requirements, customer specifications, and applicable technical regulations before final release. The role supports quality, traceability, operational safety, and compliance by reviewing technical records, identifying and resolving non-conformities, maintaining accurate quality documentation, and authorizing the release of compliant processes and equipment.
Duties:
Included, but not limited to
- Review, check, and validate technical documents, inspection records, and evidence related to production processes.
- Issue formal release authorizations for materials, equipment, and production stages after verifying compliance.
- Identify non-conformities, record occurrences, and notify the responsible parties so that corrective actions are completed before release.
- Ensure that processes comply with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable technical standards, and other relevant requirements.
- Organize and maintain up-to-date records of Receiving & Outgoing Inspections for internal and external audits and customer inspections.
- Support the preparation and control of work orders, inspection reports, quality certificates, and other technical documents.
- Monitor inspection and test results and verify that equipment complies with the established technical requirements.
- Release equipment for use only after confirming completion of repairs and verifying both technical and documentary compliance.
- Comply with and enforce Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements.
- Comply with the requirements of the Company Quality Management System.
- Comply with all Global Riser internal policies and procedures.
Experience
:
- Minimum:
One (1) year of experience in process control, Data Book compilation, or administrative activities within a quality function. - Desirable:
One (1) year of experience with document management systems and corporate software such as SAP, SIFAC, SharePoint, or similar systems.
Skills

Qualifications
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Technical Certificate in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
- Additional training in Quality Management, Document Control, and Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards such as ISO 9001, API, ASME, ASTM, or other relevant industry standards.
Place of work
The employee will be based at the company facility in New Iberia, Louisiana. The employee will be expected to report to place of work at his/her own expense.
