As a full-stack software engineer, you are responsible for transferring our AI models into a functional, intuitive, and high-performance application. You build both the robust engine room in the backend and a sophisticated application in the frontend. Your work makes our complex technology user-friendly and creates an autonomous system solution.

Your role

You are the developer of our entire application ecosystem – from the backend to the cockpit.

As a (senior) full-stack software developer, you are responsible for the (architecture and) development of the (business-critical) applications that bring our AI to life. You are responsible for the entire technical stack, from designing scalable microservices to developing sophisticated (autonomous) applications at the edge. Your work transforms complex AI technology into a manageable and powerful tool, creating the autonomous software application.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Backend & API development (architecture):
  Design and implementation of scalable microservices and robust APIs (REST, gRPC) to connect our AI models
• Edge application development:
  Implementation of complex, data-intensive edge applications using modern C++ frameworks.
• Database management:
  Design of data models and management of our SQL and No
  
  SQL databases
• Data visualization:
  Development of interactive map views and visualizations to display real-time situational pictures
• End-to-end responsibility:
  You work across the entire stack and ensure seamless integration of edge device, backend, and infrastructure
• Mentoring & technical leadership (senior level):
  You promote other engineers in terms of best practices for software design, clean code, and system architecture.
• Our senior engineers are responsible for the architectural foundation, but never lose touch with practice:
  They bridge the gap between strategic design and passionate hands-on coding in the team

Desired skills and qualifications

• A degree in computer science or equivalent (for the senior position ideally with a master's or a doctorate).
• Excellent programming skills in both a modern backend language (e.g., Python, Go) and for the edge application (C++)
• Practical experience in building distributed systems, API development, and working with cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Senior level:
  Relevant, multi-year professional experience, as well as proven successes in implementing complex technical architectures or technical leadership in a fast-paced technological environment.
• An eye for good design and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences
• A high standard of quality and the motivation to take responsibility for the entire application
• Fluent in German and English
