URGENT Consultant Opportunity

Job Description

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. This role involves significant reporting responsibilities to the bank, as well as journal entries in TGI-ERP and extensive work in Excel.

Responsibilities

+ Reconcile account balances and bank statements.

+ Maintain the general ledger and prepare month-end close procedures.

+ Provide reporting to the bank 1-2 times per week.

+ Perform journal entries in TGI-ERP.

+ Utilize Excel for pivot tables, filters, and trial balance adjustments.

+ Build out reports using Excel, especially when new GL codes are involved.

+ Support ad hoc projects as needed.

+ Log in for 1-2 hours on weekends every other week for necessary updates.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of accounting experience.

+ Intermediate proficiency in Excel.

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

+ Experience in cost accounting.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+

Experience with the manufacturing industry is a plus.

+ Ability to work well independently.

+ Familiarity with CPA or audit experience is highly desirable.

This is a Contract position based out of Pine Brook, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
