Accounts Payable Clerk – Join Our Busy Property Management Team!

Location:

Sussex County, NJ. Family-owned property management business seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records. If you have a strong accounting background and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Accurately compute and record numerical data
  • Verify the accuracy of business transactions
  • Perform data entry and administrative tasks
  • Reconcile bank accounts and tenant ledgers
  • Set up and enter new clients into accounting and management systems
  • Handle A/R, including active collections and legal actions
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for management
  • Maintain current bank balances and manage cash flow for bill payments
  • Process monthly invoices through Quick Books Pro
  • Manage weekly payroll
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related fields
  • Knowledge of GAAP principles
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping
  • Advanced degree in business, finance, or accounting is a plus
  • Extensive experience with Quick Books Pro (desktop version)
