Accounting Analyst

Location: Holmdel

Description

We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to support core accounts receivable and general accounting activities.

Responsibilities:

· Process weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc customer invoicing in a timely and accurate manner

· Post customer payments to general ledger received via check and/or ACH; reconcile any short payments or deductions.

· Maintain and analyze weekly aging reports and reconcile to periodic general ledger close.

· Research and resolve all inquiries related to vendor invoicing and payments.

· Conduct daily collection calls on past due invoices.

· Maintain strong working relationships with customers and merchandisers.

Requirements

· Minimum Bachelor's Degree required.

· 1+ years Accounts Receivable experience, including cash application, billing and collections.

· Computer Skills - proficient in Excel (including formulas and pivots), knowledge of SAP a plus

· Well organized and detail oriented

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· Must be a team player.

· Ability to multitask in a high paced and high-volume environment
